This traditional University Park home didn’t require a full redo, but some creative manipulation. In the kitchen, by moving the stovetop to the wall and reworking the cabinets we were able to provide a modern update with New Orleans charm. Walls were opened up between living areas to provide an open flow. A wall dividing entry and breakfast areas was added to seclude the kitchen from the door. Paneling and coffered ceilings were added to layer in the traditional charm.
