As this client already had a formal dining room, the breakfast nook off her kitchen went mostly unused. The space contained a small table and chairs and some additional storage. But this bright, sun-filled space just off the outdoor deck had potential for so much more! We designed a beautiful sitting area, perfect for coffee and reading in the morning, or for friends to hang out and keep the cook company while dinner is being prepared. She now says the kitchen is her favorite room in the house! The day bed, rug, and some accessories are new; the leather arm chair, wreath, and dog were already hers.
