This traditional kitchen opens up to the dining area and was a little dark for a lack of windows. We used a white painted finish on the cabinetry, semi gloss as the paint finish and ample lighting; task, area, and accent lighting inside the cabinetry.
The medium toned hardwood floors gave some grounding contrast to the bright and airy upper areas of the room.
Also, bar seating at the island counter provided the ability to be a part of the culinary magic (while being out of the way!).
