The concept for this design was a serene space where French country meets beach cottage. This was a 450 square foot studio, so it was important to keep similar themes throughout. We took our cue from some large fishing vessel art hanging in the nearby dining nook, but provided some visual separation by hanging semi-opaque window panels and using a freestanding bookshelf, which provided additional storage – a must in a small space!
