Ravensdale Craftsman Beauty

This executive craftsman nestled in the PNW woods was ready for an update and for this family to love their home again. It was dark and outdated and didn’t serve the family for entertaining, cooking or just hanging out. We first set out to brighten the space. Updating to a nice grey palette with pops of color and nodding to the cherry wood, but not letting it overpower was key. Painting the ceilings white, and light grey walls created immense light in the home. We added hardwoods in the living and dining, and updated the carpet throughout. The fireplace needed a refresh and while sticking to the craftsman NW feel, we used ledgestone to the ceiling and a reclaimed wood mantel. Quartzite counters in light gray, beige and creams, with a linear modern backsplash made the kitchen fresh! The exterior received a massive update as well, paint, new wood and columns in the front entry to enhance that “WOW” factor. This home is such a beautiful reflection of this family’s love for one another and their history. We used several pieces that had significant meaning to them and mixing the new created such a unique space. Love love love this project and family!
