Modern upgrades were made to a View Ridge home in the suburbs of Seattle to better reflect the owner’s personal styles and love for entertaining. We re-wrapped the fireplace wall and hearth in natural stone and added a more current gas fireplace insert. Grass-cloth wall coverings and custom-designed built-in cabinetry gave the great room a fresh and cozy vibe. Contemporary paintings and a custom brass sideboard added a variety of focal points. The finishing touch was taking the dead space under the front window and creating an inviting window seat to add dimensional texture and warmth to the inviting space. WS Feldt General Contractor.
