New construction. I was contracted to design all surfaces including tile, flooring, lighting fixtures and cabinets for the entire home. The hardwood flooring was finished in a Swedish method. House was certified LEAD. The tile in the bathrooms was designed to keep with the time era of the original home. This was actually a historical home in Bellingham, never registered. It was known as the old carriage station, I do believe, and had been moved from it’s original location. The owner tore the original home down, kept the beautiful arched window for the new home as well as the old brick to rebuild the fireplace. It received raving reviews upon it’s open house.
