Once upon a time, this treehouse held four twin beds, which was great for groups, but not ideal for couples. We decided to compromise: build a queen bed on the bottom and leave two twins up above. One of the best parts of this project was the execution of it; I designed the changes, did the carpentry, and implemented the furnishings. We gained not only a queen bed, but a reading area as well. This treehouse is now a couple’s retreat and a group getaway.
