After graduating Bennington College in 1991 with a degree in Art & Architecture, Amy went to work for Woodman Design Group as a Project Manager and then Principal. During her time with WDG she oversaw over $30,000,000 in construction per year, and designed and oversaw the completion of as many as 9 assisted living projects in a given year. In 2002 she founded her own firm, Woodman Design Studio, Inc. Amy has been featured on the cover of Design Times magazine, was published in Design Magazine and Hospitality Design Magazine, has won several Gold Key awards, and was a guest lecturer at Harvard's Graduate School of Design for creating supportive environments for people with Alzheimer's.
