Mrs. Weldon’s eleven years of experience as an interior designer has included programming, design and construction of over 750,000 square feet of residential, hospitality, resort, multi-family, and corporate spaces. Drayton received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Converse College. Drayton has worked with a variety of clients, ranging from developers to project managers and homeowner’s to CEO’s. Recent design projects include retail space on King Street in Charleston, SC, Williams Brice Stadium private Suites and Clubs, University of South Carolina Men's and Women's Basketball, Langtree at the Lake development, a mixed-use property with condos, lodging and amenities, and residences in Atlanta's Buckhead and on Colonial Lake in Downtown Charleston. Her high-end residential experience when working for Victoria Hagan Interiors in New York has proved beneficial to these projects in the design development stages, visually apparent in her finish selections, and also in her project management capabilities. This New York training allowed Drayton to begin her career designing several notable and highly regarded projects. Also notable is Drayton's experience with LEED and green building practices. Having just completed the University of South Carolina Coaches Support facility, it is in the stages of receiving its LEED certification, and it will be Ms. Campbell's first LEED Gold project. As a Charleston, SC resident, her designs are inspired by a mix of her coastal surroundings and her New York- influenced mind-set that all interiors should have an element of luxury which is enriching to the client or end user. Her designs are based around her objective to “create beautiful, stylish, comfortable and most importantly functional spaces tailored to my client’s needs.”
