Artwork made by family and friends, or collected on our travels, reminding me of where we have been. A messy bouquet of flowers, picked in the garden. These are the things that make me feel comfortable in my home. As a designer, I strive to discover what these things are for you - the small things that make your home into the place you most want to be. I don't want my clients to have a beautiful but sterile space - I want them to look around and see things they love, that evoke meaning to them. I strongly believes that our surroundings have great pyschological impact on us. Because of this, I try where possible to use honest, natural materials that respond to touch and look better with age - wood, stone, cotton, linen, brass, steel.
