After working with one of Nashville's premier custom residential homebuilders for over five years, Kate Ladd founded Vernacular to marry all avenues of interior design within one full-service design firm. Kate's experience with both new construction and remodeling has given her a keen and technical eye for detail, as well as the ability to communicate intelligently with contractors and tradespeople. Kate presents an honest approach to the design process, blending practicality with unique, specialized spaces. The client-designer relationship is of the highest value, and both the aesthetic and economic goals of the client will remain at the forefront of the design process. Kate obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from O'More College of Design and is NCIDQ certified.
