For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of having a family. A big family with lots of kids, noise, chaos, excitement and fun. As other girls dreamed of where they would go to college and the careers they would have, I dreamed about family and the home I would make for my children. Lucky for me, I found the most wonderful man (even though we were practically kids ourselves at the time) to share that dream with me and together we had 6 children and now 16 grandchildren (and counting!). The time I spend with my family is what matters most to me. It is loud and hectic and crazy and I wouldn't want it any other way. Born of this love of home and family, I opened The Willows in 1997 to have a place for people to come and help make their homes beautiful, warm and cozy for their families. Next to spending time with my family, I could spend endless hours "treasure hunting" at flea markets and antique stores (and let's be honest, Goodwill and dumpster diving are great, too).
