Design has always been in Taylor's blood. Her mother is an artist with an architectural background, and her father is the president of Bogart Construction, a commercial general contracting firm. She remembers watching her mother sketch her own ideas for their family home and tackle home renovations. Growing up, Taylor tore through the pages architectural digest, scrapbooking home images she was inspired by.
