I have an a Business Degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. I worked in the sports industry as an agent/assistant for professional tennis players, then went to Australia to follow my would be husband where we both played basketball professionally. When I came back to the States, I decided to spend my life doing what I love and went back to Design School. I graduated from Seminole State with a degree in Interior Design with a specialization in Kitchen and Bath Design. I worked at several design firms with portfolios that ranged from small residential to large international projects. This diversity of experience has enabled me to have a broad knowledge of design and budgets. After having my daughter in 2012, I wanted to focus on developing my own brand. Shannon and I opened Steele Street Studios shortly after and the rest is history! I love to mix modern, vintage and collected pieces. The foundation of my design philosophy is being able to create a home that is not only beautiful but truly reflects who the client is. Shannon Lazic | Principal :- I am a wife, mother, Interior Designer, and a photographer. I LOVE traveling the world. I am fascinated by historical places and old buildings. I have a big family and am fortunate to live close to most of them. I am blessed with an amazing husband whom without him I wouldn't be where I am today - following my dreams. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Business Degree. I worked in the Real Estate industry (didn't everyone?) for several years before deciding that I could no longer stifle the creative voice inside my head. I went back to school for Interior Design and graduated in 2009. My first job out of college was working for Marc-Michaels Interior Design; one of the premier design firms in the country. I was fortunate enough to work on once in a lifetime projects that have given me invaluable experience. After many years of working together for a huge firm; Blair and I decided that we wanted to start our own business, with our own vision. After my son was born I developed a passion for photography. My style of photography is anything but traditional. I've been lucky enough to be able to combine my love of photography with my career by shooting beautiful interiors.
