Stacie Podos has been an Interior Designer for 30 years. She started her career after attending FIT by working in retail Design Showrooms for the next 10 years. Following her dream, Stacie opened up her own Design Showroom in New City, New York which she kept for 10 years before moving her business into her own home. Stacie’s focus is in residential design. Combine by Design: The Art of Bringing Two Sets of Home Furnishings Together to Create a Beautiful New Space. The concept for Combine By Design came to Stacie after her mother was left a widow and had moved on in her life by remarrying. Stacie realized that there had to be a way for her mother to keep her beloved possessions while moving into a new space, with a new husband, blending both sets of households. The idea blossomed into combining any two sets of home furnishings resulting from many sorts of relationships.
