The process of working with a Designer should be a joy! It is my job to listen to the Client’s ideas and desires for their space, then be able to interpret them using a sense of scale and juxtaposition of color, texture, space planning, and aesthetics to give them that final result of pure bliss. Residential Design is intensely personal for the Cleint to emcompass all their needs into an environment of timeless enjoyment for their family and friends to enjoy. Commercial Design may not include such a personal element for the Client, but there are many other factors to consider. For example, when creating an environment within a large apartment complex, what is the demographic the Client is trying to attract? Is there a “style” the Client would like showcase? How much use will the space be attracting, such as a business center, recreation or work out facility, on site leasing or Management. Commercial Design is an incredible opportunity to make an impact with color, or out-of-the-box design to grab the attention of future tenants to the project.
