Amy Slaughter, owner of SDS began her career in Park City, UT. where she was an Associate Interior Designer with Paula Berg Design. She quickly gained a reputation for creating custom, one-of-a-kind pieces while honing her project management skills. She was fortunate to extensively travel to project sites in several states, markets and Europe, until she and her family moved to the Texas Hill Country in 2005. It was here in Fredericksburg, Texas Slaughter Design Studio was formed, giving Amy the opportunity to branch out on her own. She is known for her depth of construction knowledge, space planning and creativity. Amy holds a BS in Interior Design from Utah State University and is a licensed, or registered, Interior Designer by the state of Texas. She has more than 25 years Experience in Interior Deign and she is also a professional member of ASID and NCIDQ, active runner, community member and Mom.
