Sharon Lake-Gargano has been practicing design for over twenty five years. She began her career in the commercial field of design. Her own interior design practice became a dream realized in 1993, focusing on residential design yet still maintaining a presence in the commercial market. Sharon is a professional member of the Alliance of Interior Designers (AID) and is certified by the Council for Qualification of Residential Interior Designers (CQRID). Sharon is a former President and board member for the local chapter of the Interior Design Society (IDS) and is currently serving on committees for the newly formed Alliance of Interior Designers (AID). She was asked by the CEO of IDS National to jury the drafting portion of CQRID exams for 2003.
