Meaghan Kimball, an award-winning filmmaker and producer, made her debut as an interior decorator by refurbishing her own 288-square-foot New York City apartment. The makeover caught the attention of Wendy Goodman, the design editor of New York Magazine, which featured her fourth-floor walk-up in its 2014 New York Summer Design Issue. Meaghan crafts luxurious contemporary interiors by blending old-world antiques with modern furnishing. Her design influences are David Hicks, Billy Baldwin, and Kelly Wearstler. She also draws on her love of film history as well as her experience as a producer. Her producer experience taught Meaghan how to create production value within a budget, a skill she applies in her interior décor work. In addition to New York Magazine, her work has appeared in THE CUT, The Wall Street Journal Style, and The Huffington Post. Meaghan holds an M.F.A. in screenwriting from American Film Institute and a B.F.A. in film and television from New York University Tisch School of Arts. A native San Franciscan who has lived in Los Angeles and Berlin, she currently resides in New York, where she designs for clients with Meaghan Kimball Interiors and Homepolish.
