M² started out as Meraki Foto Studios, a photography company that I started rather unknowingly in 2010. I always had a love for photography, and eventually, people wanted me to take photos of them... Long story short- Meraki Foto started. I would always have the question asked to me, "What is Meraki?" Meraki is the essence of yourself that you put into your work, or the creativity and love put into something. I love the word Meraki, but I would rather have something that people don't have to struggle to remember, spell or pronounce. Along with photography, I've always loved interior design. I am known as the creative friend, and have always been the go-to for help with friend's new homes or bedrooms. So I am now expanding Meraki Foto into M², so that I can pursue both of my passions every day almost relentlessly. I'm currently ongoing my studies at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh to obtain my Associate's Degree in Interior Design. Meraki is still at the heart of M², it's just developing into something greater.
