My mission as an interior designer is simple: to understand what my clients love about the world around them and translate that into warm, welcoming environments. Whether it’s the industrial chic look of a favorite store, or the rich reclaimed wood flooring at a neighborhood restaurant, I mix together these different elements to create spaces that tell my clients’ unique story. I am passionate about a fixer upper full renovation and using the finest quality craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and vintage furnishings that are true works of art. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in search of hidden treasures. I scour flea markets, antique stores, online shops and even junkyards for items that I can upcycle and use in new, chic and unexpected ways. Influenced by both my classic French upbringing and my passion for the clean lines of mid-century modern design or industrial chic, I layer different materials to create warm, rich, eclectic, curated spaces that are wholly unique. While I trained as a civil engineer and spent my early career as a sales executive, I never lost my passion for interior design or my eye for discovering the perfect hidden conversational artifact that would bring a statement. After studying interior design at Parsons in New York, I created Le Loft Interior Decoration, turning my passion into a career. Today, I put my engineering, project management and sales background to work for my clients, deftly supervising complex structural renovations and delivering design projects on time and on budget. My creative process begins with empathy, by listening to my clients describe their favorite places and their needs, which might be to improve the look and feel of the space, upgrading the features and appliances, or making it more functional. I then source one-of-a-kind new or vintage furnishings to create unique interiors that evoke warmth, richness and beauty while integrating modern designs, appliances and technology. As an Interior Designer and decorator, my job is to help my clients not to be afraid of showing their character. I help them avoid or solve problems. I help them define their style and make their renovation or remodeling project a success.
