Let me introduce you to the endless world of Faux Finishing. My name is Kim Meyers and I've been a professional Faux Finisher since 1998. I've trained under and worked for Wanda Timmons of Central Illinois' Designer Finishes, Inc. I use the exclusive line of Faux Effects, products created especially for fabulous faux finishes. Some of my unique finishes include, LusterStone, Olde World, Venetian Plaster, Brick, Stone, Granite, Leather and Marble. I also create more subtle and basic finishes such as Linen Weave, Color Blending and Stenciling. I continue taking Faux Finishing classes on a yearly basis to keep up with the ever changing world of Decorative Painting. My business name, Great TransFAUXmations, was created for two reasons. First, because of the great transformation that occurs in a room that has been faux finished. Second, because of the great transformation that occurs as a result of a life committed to Jesus Christ.
