My love of drawing and painting goes back to before I can even remember. My parents and extended family cultivated my artistic skills at a young age and encouraged me to utilize my gift once I became a 'grown-up'. I should add that I was frequently exposed to family projects that ranged from furniture refinishing to full-blown remodels and additions. I loved seeing how things were built and how material selections came together as one collective piece of art - I was smitten.
