Inspirations Interior Design has been twenty years in the making. Joanna Barker, Owner and Designer, started her impressive career after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge. She began working in the resort design field as an assistant, and quickly worked her way up to Executive Vice President. Clients and projects were located throughout the United States and Mexico. When she left that position in 2006, the company was listed in Interior Design Magazine’s Top 100 hospitality design firms. As fate would have it, she and her husband re-located to Orange County, where she took a position as Design Director for a firm that specialized in high-end design for country clubs and resorts. In late 2007, Joanna departed that position to consider her next career move. She realized that only one position would be completely satisfactory: presiding over her own company. Hence, Inspirations Interior Design was born, a name that reflects that decision, and the process of design itself. Inspirations offers complete interior design services to the residential, hospitality, and commercial communities, with years of success, experience and wisdom behind it.
