From my earliest recollections, I have always been interested in colors, fabrics, fashion, and design. In my teens, I designed and made clothing for family, my friends, and myself, and knew I wanted to be a professional designer. After starting Drexel University as a Fashion Design major, my interest and focus shifted to Interior Design. Following graduation, I started my own design firm, which is primarily focused on residential interior design. Over the course of over twenty-five years in professional Interior Design, in addition to scores of residential projects, I have also provided design services to a number of corporate and non-profit organizations. I’ve also taught “Introduction to Interior Design” at a local college. I have worked with several clients for over twenty years, providing consultation and design services to them on several residences as well as their vacation homes. While many designers may approach a project with the intention of making it reflect their own tastes and style, my philosophy is to learn, beginning with the initial consultation, what the client would want at the end of the project. I firmly believe that by understanding what the client wants, the end result is a very high level of client satisfaction. And at the end of the day, that’s what counts.
