My name is Giselle, and I am the principal interior designer of Giselle Ulmo Interiors. I want to share with you my story and how I developed my passion for design. It all began when I was a child, as far back as I can remember, when I would spend hours playing with my Barbie’s furniture and clothing in my mother’s sewing room. It continued when I attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for fashion design. I moved to New York and began my full-time career designing accessories in the fashion industry. Then, when my husband and I purchased our first home, my interest shifted to interior design and I was hooked! Since then, I have been designing interior spaces to remodel my own home as well as projects for friends and clients. As I continued to expand my learning, I returned to university and graduated with an interior design degree, which was something that I always wanted to do. I have a busy design practice with an assortment of projects in New York and throughout the country. I am happy to say that my work gives me great joy and I consider myself very fortunate to do what I love.
