Every aspect of my design work has a strong historical basis, in that I am continually inspired by my deep knowledge and love of the past. Although there is nothing new under the sun, certain solutions to design problems continue to resonate exactly because they are timeless. Fashion is of the moment and is by definition fleeting, but classical design ages gracefully and remains fresh and vital.
