Justin Venk is the founder and president of Facet 14 Studio, an innovative interior design firm specializing in both residential and commercial commissions, as well as custom lighting and furniture. The lighting collection consists of hand-crafted pieces inspired by classic forms with a modern take. Justin serves the needs of each client with his passion for timeless, relaxing homes that improve with age. He draws inspiration from vernacular architectural details of the particular region of each project. Justin subscribes to the importance of properly proportioned structures and details, partnered with a carefully curated collection of vintage, antique, and custom furniture. Located in a historic home in Oklahoma City’s Heritage Hills neighborhood, Facet 14 Studio is currently working on several large projects in and around Oklahoma City, Norman, Denver, and Washington DC. In addition to these residential commissions, the firm has also completed designing a new restaurant in Ardmore, OK from the ground up. Justin’s projects in New York City have recently been featured at Houzz.com and published in Interior Design magazine. Born in Norman, Oklahoma, Justin Venk has always had an interest in materials, design, and architecture. After seven years working in finance and construction, his interests led him to pursue a degree in interior design. He received his Masters in Interior Design from The New York School of Interior Design in May 2014. Before creating Facet 14 Studio, he spent time working with Drew McGukin Interiors, Apparatus Studio, and Tamara Eaton Design in New York.
