KATHY LYSEN IS FOUNDER AND OWNER OF EGG & DART DESIGN Since 2007, she has been guiding residential clients in all aspects of interior design and remodels. Bringing creativity to each design project, Kathy has a passion for selecting furnishings and interiors that create a style unique to each client. Over the past 5 years, Kathy has partnered with clients in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond and Sammamish to bring their visions for their living space to reality. “Diggs & Dwellings has teamed with Kathy on several projects. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and is such a talented designer!” Sandy Nakatsu, Owner—Diggs & Dwellings Unique to the interior design industry, Kathy works not only as an interior designer but also as the General Contractor on remodel projects, running remodels from the planning stage to completion. She bids, hires and manages contractors and excels in keeping remodel projects on deadline and under budget. Kathy enjoys the project management aspect of remodels and takes pride in giving clients a stress-free experience with her attention to detail and highly effective communication style. Kathy handles all aspects of material and paint selection and advises on space planning issues to help clients utilize their space to its fullest potential. She takes great pleasure in helping clients to select granite, tile, lighting, appliances and all other aspects involved in updating a home. She enjoys working on projects of any size, be it a kitchen or bathroom remodel or a full teardown project. Kathy is native to the Seattle area and a graduate of the University of Washington.
