Mary Kay Dickinson began her interior design career in 1971 in Charlotte, NC. With several locations and types of design focus over the years and subsequently relocated four times. She has done off-shore condominiums, executive offices, conference rooms, lawyer’s suites, and trade show booths in Germany and in Chicago where the trade publication features that booth as 'most creative' At all times during 45+ years the main focus has been on residential design. Creative and original interior design creates style with long term perspective. Past awards include a regional American Society of Interior Designer’s Honorable Mention for a living room space in Washington DC. Consultation for an hourly fee, assistance with downsizing for seniors, advice for purchases in question in view of scale and appropriateness, and a resistance of trends now incorporate a practice where client wishes for finding essential items are met with knowledge and persistence.
