Design has always fascinated me and I spent countless hours of my youth rearranging my room for fun while my peers were playing video games and watching tv. I would spend my hard-earned babysitting money on flea market chairs, oil paintings and pillows instead of the gadget du jour. ? In college, I struggled with the decision on whether to major in interior design or art history, my other passion. I opted for the latter and realized too late that I made the wrong choice. I am back, focusing in on my lifelong passion and enjoying every minute of it. ? I believe design is and can be accessible to all. You do not have to spend a fortune to achieve a cohesive, personalized space that makes you happy to be home. I believe in the high-low approach, spending on some quality pieces and thrifting the others. Sprinkle in a great vintage find and voila. To this day, I find the most interesting, conversation-inducing pieces scouring Craigslist and flea markets. Yes, my love for a good flea market has not wavered. Most importantly, I believe a client's space can and should represent their style and personality. To me, this is the most rewarding aspect of my job.
