The Company Founded in 2014, CS Design & Deco Inc. is a Torrance, LA based interior design firm providing a start to finish interior design, product procurement and project management service. The Designer Shirley Shin is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in commercial interior design. She started her career at the Yasuo Kondo Design Office in Tokyo and designed for clients including Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Nippon Telegraph & Telephone (NTT). Shirley then moved to South Korea and founded her own interior design firm in Seoul. She was responsible for projects such as designing retail spaces country wide for the Esquire fashion group, Jecheon Media Center, the host of globally famous annual International Film & Music Festival, and the Marina Women’s Clinic in Icheon, the first ever medical space to win the Gyeonggi Province Architecture Award in 2007. Moving to LA, Shirley continued as an interior designer, working for Key International Inc. and was responsible for projects such as designing the office space for Dentsu Entertainment USA, the Ultimate Styles Dental Laboratory for the famous master ceramist Naoki Hayashi, and design consulting for Redac Gateway Hotel in Torrance. Taking on a wide range of projects has provided Shirley with the opportunity to gain expertise across many industries including hospitality, medical, office and public space design. Today, Shirley is the President and Director of Design of CS Design & Deco Inc., utilizing her experience to lead a company that specializes in capturing and portraying a client's commercial image through strategic design.
