Flowers are one of the most important elements of any wedding or event, as they are powerful memory triggers that can take us directly to a place and time. A whiff of freesia makes me think of my Grandma Elsie; the scent of geranium wraps me up in an imaginary hug from my Grandma Lou. The soft, spicy scent of spray roses and gillyflower is like a time capsule straight back to my wedding day.
