Beverly Taylor is the principal designer of Beverly Taylor Design. Initially she graduated with a degree in elementary education and taught school until she had her son, Kyle, and her daughter, Lauren. When they were in high school, she returned to college to get her degree in interior design with a minor in fine arts. Beverly has a warm, straightforward personality and believes that comfort is the essential element of a successful interior. She encourages her clients to be true to their lifestyle. Her design style enjoys a blend of the old and the new, layering of patterns and textures, and incorporating interesting art and lighting. She loves antiquing, painting, freshly-pressed bed linens, colorful flower bouquets that include sunflowers, and laughing until she cries. Beverly enjoys spending her time in Raleigh and at her cottage at the beach with her husband and two dogs.
