Berno Designs LLC is a Vermont based interior design studio founded by Stacy Berno of the Mad River Valley. Almost two decades of experience and humble roots combine to offer a unique skillset proven successful for residential interior project design and management. After a start in the design world while residing in California, Stacy realized she had found her lifelong career and moved to Denver to obtain an education and certificate in residential decor from the Art Institute of Colorado. Moving back to her home state in 2006, she took on a couple amazing opportunities including a role as project designer with Seldom Scene Interiors, an International Interior Design Firm, of Stowe. She worked closely with esteemed industry leaders in building and architecture, such as Woodmeister Master Builders and Moger Merhrof Architects of Philadelphia, as well as local contractors, architects, tradesman, and homeowners on a prolific amount of remodel and new build projects all over the country. Entrepreneurial spirit prevails and Berno Designs LLC was re-instated with a focus on aiding second homeowners, and locals alike, create beautiful and functional spaces that suit their lifestyles. Stacy genuinely loves what she does and enjoys the entire layered process involved in achieving a successful collaboration in this unique trade and doesn't give up until the client's vision is accomplished as reflected by Houzz Best of Service Award in 2014 and, just recently, 2017.
