I was always a lover of fine design, even as a young child. When I reached high school I took an Interior Design class and was so enamored by it that I decided that the future for me would be to become an Interior Designer. My main project in my high school interior design class was to redo my bedroom into a part dance studio and part bedroom. It was so much fun for me and I scored a really high mark on my project. I changed the course of my career path when I joined the Navy in the footsteps of my father and favorite female cousin. All the while I was in the Navy I took evening classes to earn my degree in Liberal Arts. I eventually earned two Associate Degree’s (Liberal Arts/Legal Assistant). I was a Yeoman in the Navy, which is comparable to a secretary, and had plans of becoming a LegalMan but did not pursue that position because I learned I was going to have a child. ?While stationed in Bermuda, on the Naval Air Base, I read a book about flipping homes for profit and was hooked again. Unfortunately, while I was stationed in Bermuda I was not able to purchase a home because I was not a Bermudian citizen. I ended my enlistment in the Navy when my daughter was born and moved with my infant daughter to Orange County, California to be near my family. In 2004 my daughter, then 16, and I, relocated to Littleton, Colorado and we have been here ever since and I absolutely love it.
