Ann Baumgartner and Tamela Greathouse Greene are the principals of AT STUDIO, an interior design firm. After obtaining an architectural degree, Ann began her career in the offices of legendary design talents Peter Marino, Thierry Despont, and Jed Johnson where she worked on unique, high end, luxury projects. This led to her graduate studies in the decorative arts where she gained extensive knowledge of antiques and furthered her appreciation for classical design. She opened her eponymous interior design firm in 1995, where she worked on projects throughout the U.S., including New York, the Hamptons, and Utah, as well as Canada and the Caribbean. Tamela has always had an innate sense of style. She began her fashion career working in sales and public relations for Norma Kamali. She then moved to Henri Bendel and later Escada where she focused on product design and trend forecasting. Through the design process she became passionate about knitwear and was named the Creative Director for a very successful cashmere company. Her sweaters were featured in virtually every fashion publication such as Vogue, InStyle, Elle and Glamour as well as The New York Times and Vanity Fair. Interiors and fashion have always been fundamentally connected and AT STUDIO has mastered this mix. Ann has a strong sense of architectural scale and proportion, and vast experience with classically inspired and transitional interiors. Tamela has an eye for contemporary design and current trends, including the latest colors, prints, materials and finishes.
