Welcome to Anna Jones Designs. I understand the importance of making a house a home for you and your family. Making a space comfortable and welcoming takes work and thoughtful planning, and this transformation is something I enjoy and something that’s very important to me as I work to help my clients. Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working in varied commercial and residential spaces to do just that – transform spaces. I have worked on apartments, brownstones, large and small residential homes, commercial spaces, and even high end yachts. I also take pride in my scope on projects – from one room to ground-up builds. Suffice to say, I appreciate variety, and I love a challenge. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Interior Design, and I’m a loyal, Horned Frog fan and supporter. I began my career after college working at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) for the Oliver Walker showroom. After a few years of learning the industry, I went to work in Hilton Head, South Carolina for Kelly Designs where I enjoyed working with numerous high end residential and retail clients. This was a dream job for any interior designer – particularly one early in her career. After a few years, I decided the commute was too much, and I went to work for a firm on Skidaway Island, closer to my home in Savannah, Georgia. After 18 months of working for Village Interiors, I bought the business and became a small business owner at the age of 27. I spent four years running my own successful business, but once my husband and I decided to expand our family, being closer to home and family in Texas was a priority. We moved to Texas, and I took some time off after our son was born, but after enjoying being home for a year, I was ready to get back to work. My love for design was calling. I started with a job The Market Antiques and Home Furnishings as their in house designer. Unfortunately, due to the economy at that time, The Market had to close. I took it as a sign I was meant to be out on my own again. Since then, I have been very fortunate to have a steadily growing client base built solely on referrals. It’s very rewarding to go to work every day with a mission of helping others transform their space into a place they love, a place that’s comfortable, and a place they are excited to call home. – Anna
