& Design is a design firm headquartered in New Jersey. Founded by Anastasia Harrison, & Design's goal is to create one of a kind homes that restore the details and inherent character of past traditions with modern elements. We know through our sympathetic design and modernization of structures we will make your house feel like a home. In 2012 Anastasia devoted herself full-time to serving the residential design needs of discriminating clients throughout the NYC Metro Area creating the firm &Design. She has organizational skills that allow her to keep her clients involved in the process of design, and creates their dreams that they never would have realized alone. Her goal is to design spaces and places for each client, that is functional and unique. In 2014 Lisa Tsavekou joined & Design and helps to bring a greater depth of design to our client base. Interior design is not just a career for Lisa Tsavekou – it’s a passion. Lisa enjoys meeting new people and loves creating warm, welcoming interiors that exceed expectations. Her clients often tell her she seems like both a trusted advisor and a close friend. Lisa focuses on traditional, timeless interiors. Parsons School of Design is where she learned her design philosophy of maintaining a close link between the disciplines of architecture and interior design to develop classic spaces that survive the passage of design trends. QUESTIONS ABOUT DESIGN WHAT’S YOUR PREDICTION FOR THE NEXT BIG TREND IN DESIGN? "Mixing warm metals, such as copper and brushed gold, with cool ones like polished nickel and chrome. Matching every metal finish in a single room is too staged. A strategic, layered mix of metals is an unexpected and more stylish option." Anastasia WHAT DRIVES YOU TO DESIGN? "There's nothing more satisfying then finishing a job we are particularly proud of and see it in print or online. Being able to create something memorable, something to be proud of, while also solving a clients problem at the same time is the driving force behind our creative force. Our success in tangible." Lisa YOUR BIGGEST DESIGN SECRET? "Well, it's not really a secret but a mistake that most homeowners make… pick your paint color last and your rug first!" Anastasia
