As Director of the Federal Program, Garry focuses on the client relationship and management of Federal contracts. His understanding of the Federal requirements, both contractual and technical, allows him to work closely with the Design Project Manager so both have an understanding of our client’s needs. This model gives the Federal client one point of contact if they have questions that are beyond the technical aspect of the project. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Previous to joining Four Front Design, he worked for the South Dakota Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, as a Building Engineer. His duties included project management of projects ranging from civil engineering parking lots to the design and construction of new buildings, as well as building modernization. In addition to his project manager role, he was the state energy manager for the SDARNG, the Energy Manager and Project Manager developing energy saving plans, overseeing maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, development and implementation of the state wide building automation system.
