Alexis King, CID, received her BFA with high distinction in Interior Architecture from the California College of the Arts in 2000. At the beginning of her design career, she practiced both commercial and residential design for two very prominent award-winning firms. Her commercial design experience at Gensler in San Francisco included Neiman Marcus - Houston, TX, Design Within Reach - multiple locations, and Gap - prototype store design. After relocating to Los Gatos, CA, Alexis joined Barbara Jacobs Interior Design as a senior designer. She worked on several high-end residential remodels including homes located in Saratoga, Monte Sereno, and Los Gatos ranging from 2200 sf - 6000sf.
