A US and Swiss national, Anik Pearson grew up bilingual in France, in a family of designer, artists and artisans. She has been living in New York City since she attended the Cooper Union School of Architecture. She established her own architecture and design firm in 2002, and has maintained a loyal international clientele. She has built houses, apartments and townhouses in New York City and the Hamptons, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maine, Utah and Arkansas, and her work has been widely published in American and European magazines. She designs metalwork furniture, furnishings and custom installations, which are integrated into much of her work. Originally from the English countryside, Kate Gallimore began her career in London as an editor and book designer working on art, architecture and interiors titles. After moving to New York City she retrained as an interior designer at the New York School of Interior Design and worked in some of America’s top interior design firms managing high-end residential projects in New York, Palm Beach, the Hamptons, Nantucket, London, and Gstaad. Her connections with artisans and craftsmen across the globe and her fluency in English and French, give her access to unique resources for any number of bespoke interior design projects. In addition, she has developed a line of hand-printed fabrics on linen for upholstery and wall coverings through her manufacturing entity, La Porte Anglaise.
