After majoring in Russian language and literature at Princeton University with the intention of a career in Intelligence, I was sidetracked during the long, government paperwork-filled hiring process and ended up in a career in IT on Wall Street instead. After years in this industry, all the while knowing it was definitely not the place for me, I was able to escape when I became a mom and a homeowner. My years as a stay-at-home mom brought to light my affinity for all things domestic. Gardening and decorating became my passions and as I do with anything that interests me, I dove deep into the learning side of both. Educating myself on the aesthetic and technical sides of design and trying things first hand. My home became my palette and still is. I absolutely love helping others transform their homes not only to function the way they need to to meet their lifestyle but also to reflect their taste and personality and, the best part, to look beautiful. Nothing is better than finding your passion and waking up to do it every day.
