Vani Sayeed is a Newton, MA based interior designer and artist. Vani grew up in India and spent much of her childhood admiring the artistic creativity of her mother. She earned her BFA in interior design at one of the nation’s most prestigious schools, the Sir J. J. School of Art, in Mumbai. Vani moved to the USA in 1998 and obtained her MFA in design from the University of Iowa. Vani’s design and artistic aesthetic is strongly influenced by her rich, cross-cultural exposures and experiences. Her love for art, architecture, and world travel has helped her develop a unique global style that both respects tradition and embraces new ideas. Vani first began her design business in San Francisco, CA. A mother of two children, she believes good design accommodates a certain degree of pragmatism: form, function, and beauty are intimately related. She strives to create compositions of spaces that are visually striking, inspiring and always comfortable.
