Su Beyazit was born in Adana, Turkey, a region just above the eastern Mediterranean. She left her native country at the age of five and spent the rest of her youth in North Carolina. Su was raised in a non-traditional Turkish-American upbringing. In the summer of her junior year in high school, she attended Rhode Island School of Design and finished a prestigious summer program. Su moved to New York City to attend Parsons The New School For Design. During college, she focused her studies on Fashion Design.
