Carmel Chisholm is a designer, artist, and writer who believes that good design is much like gift-giving: it relies on the ability to intuit the needs, tastes, and desires of another and translate them into the tangible. Carmel thinks about space as artful compositions, focusing on texture, color, scale, and balance of materials to craft interiors that are unique and meaningful. Her spaces are casual yet precise, focus on quality and simplicity, and are wholly personal, never cookie cutter. With a background in architecture, fine art and visual merchandising, she brings 15 years of experience to founding Studioholm, a full service interior design firm specializing in public and private consultation on interiors and art. She will happily curate and create complete environments, large or small, and always with a client's requirements and budget parameters in mind. Her goal is to make the world more beautiful, one space at a time.
