My journey as a designer began with renovating my own home. As I went through the process, I struggled with many of the same decisions my clients have to make. I know it's difficult and sometimes stressful to decide which products, finishes, colors, or furniture to choose. In my 10 years of practice, I've discovered there isn't necessarily a right answer. A lot depends on the needs, tastes and lifestyle unique to every client. Communicating with my clients and learning about them so I can bring their personality into their home is really important to me. I want to eliminate as much stress as possible and have fun in the process. My ultimate goal is to make their home a comfortable, functional and enjoyable place to live in. I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Buffalo and graduated from the Metropolitan School of Design. My earlier career, as an event planner in the entertainment industry, provided me with a foundation to transition into interior design. I was fortunate to with work with artists, writers, producers and business executives, which has me context to understand the many facets and intricacies of a design project. In my spare time I like to garden, travel, where I find much of my inspiration, and spend time with my husband and two sons.
