I can not sleep at night if everything in my home is not in its place. Some may call it OCD; I call it a happy home.I’m a designer by training and by nature. With this comes a sense for color composition, a knack for juxtaposition and an eye for simplistic beauty. I live, eat and breathe design. I want to share this sensibility with you. Education and Work History My college education at Kent State University, where I received a BFA in Visual Communication Design, and intermittent jobs molded my passion and love for all things design. I worked in retail for numerous college summers staging clothing displays and resetting the store for the next day’s customers. I also found myself attending to roller coaster enthusiasts one summer at an amusement park, a decision I regretted every time I had to go talk to riders stuck in a wooden box on a 108 degree incline on a windy day! Personal History While raising a family and enjoying our life together, we explore and do many adventures. We tend to gravitate outdoors on hikes and creek walking. We moved a year ago and I am spending time and money making this home our own. We recently completed a master bathroom and closet remodel. I act as the project manager, interior designer, and painter. (I challenge you to a caulking skills competition!) My husband’s skills range from the electrician to the architect. He custom built our master closet. Together we get things done and constantly surprise ourselves with our accomplishments.
