Robert Trotman Interior Design Inc. is a full service interior design and decoration firm. Since 1986 Robert Trotman has been providing professional interior design services to many of the Pacific Northwest's leading families in addition to numerous projects nation wide. Drawn by his commitment to the arts, clients experience an unprecedented level of exposure to aesthetic and function, ultimately culminating in projects that are tailored to their desires and needs. Recent design projects include projects as diverse as a sleek Contemporary home, complete renovation and decoration of an Art-Deco Apartment, a Lodge style lake house, a Georgian style country house, an early California style compound in La Quinta, California, and an English style cottage overlooking the Oregon Coast. The only common denominator in all of these projects is an emphasis on quality and furnishings appropriate to the owners lifestyle, that are comfortable, inviting and compatible with the architecture of the property. While his design education includes studies in Berlin and Paris, his inspiration is firmly based in active involvement with the Portland art community including the Portland Art Museum, where he is a docent, Oregon Ballet Theatre, where he is a founding board member, and the Pacific Youth Choir, where he is a founding and current board member. Robert is a Past-President of the Oregon chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers whose active leadership in the community is complemented by his strong belief in volunteerism.
